Woman claims... 'I AM MADELEINE MCCANN'

It’s been more than 15 years since 3-year-old Madeleine McCann went missing from her bed while holidaying with her parents and siblings in Portugal’s Praia da Luz on May 3, 2007 – and still, potential leads in the unsolved case continue to flow in. Now, a young woman claiming to be the missing British girl has shared ‘evidence’ to support her theory and is begging the McCann family to agree to a DNA test.

Julia Wandelt (also referred to as Wendel or Wendell), from Poland, recently launched the Instagram account @iammadeleinemccan, revealing that she began questioning whether she was Madeleine “a few months ago” after hearing “something” from her grandma. The 21-year-old has since posted a series of photographs that she believes prove her likeness to the youngster. “I have a mark on the same eye,” Julia detailed in a February 19 post, adding she has a freckle on her leg in the same spot as Madeleine, too. “I have similar shape of face, ears, lips [and] I had the gap between the teeths.”
