Still traumatized by her divorce, Angelina Jolie has cut herself off from friends and loved ones

It was a rare public appearance. Angelina Jolie, looking every bit the movie star wearing vintage Chanel and a classic red lip, attended President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden’s White House State Dinner on April 26 for South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol. With her son Maddox on her arm, the Oscar winner shyly declined to speak to the press, says a source: “It’s been a while since she’s been in front of so many cameras.”

She doesn’t get out much. In the aftermath of her nasty 2016 split from Brad Pitt, “Angie has kept to herself more than ever,” the source says. Angelina, 47, even stepped down from her role as a United Nations special envoy in December after more than two decades. “She’s cut off people she’s worked with for years and no longer speaks to any family other than her kids. She has almost no one else left. Her life is very lonely.”
