But as Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck worked to navigate the “emotional transition” they’ve made with their combined brood of five after tying the knot in July, she’s had nothing but praise for his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. “She’s an amazing co-parent,” J. Lo has gushed, adding that Jen and Ben “work really well together.”

The same can’t be said for herself and her own ex, Marc Anthony. “Jennifer and Mark had an amicable split, all things considered, but things have gone downhill fast since she got back together with Ben,” a source says of the pair, who share 15-year-old twins Max and Emme from their 10-year marriage. In just over a year, Marc’s petty jealousy and judgmental attitude have “destroyed their peaceful relationship,” adds the source. “A family war is exploding.”
