Graphics prices falling down, falling down…

A COUPLE OF MONTHS ago, we took our first look at AMD’s new RX 6750 XT GPU, courtesy of Asus’s ROG Strix model. At the time, pricing was higher than we’d have liked, but things have already moved in the right direction. ASRock’s Phantom Gaming D has a lot in common with the Strix card, including the triple fans and large cooler, but prices have dropped by $50—and if you’re willing to skip the RGB lighting, ASRock’s Challenger D knocks another $100 off the price, making the RX 6750 XT a far more attractive proposition.

Other things have happened in the past couple of months that we wanted to investigate. Specifically, AMD released a DirectX 11 optimized driver after our review, which can improve performance in some cases. Unfortunately, there were times when performance dropped compared to the earlier 22.5.2 drivers. You win some, you lose some.
