1 It's a tight squeeze, to say the least, but here we have it. An Intel NUC 13 with a helping hand from an RTX 4070 Ti OC card, this is one mean mini machine.
2 There are only two SODIMM slots available here, so take your time choosing which RAM to go for, especially if you are thinking of future-proofing in the long-term.
3 Here it is, the infamous Intel skull. Thankfully, this time around, it's hidden inside the case instead of being on the face, as it was on the previous Intel NUC 12.
4 Underneath this cooler lurks some serious brain power, Intel's Core i9-13900K. There's not really much more we could ask for in terms of CPU. It's a beast.
Yet not all PCs have the same uses, and this Intel NUC is a great example of this. Due to its smaller footprint, it offers greater versatility, meaning you could set it up in places where you wouldn't usually put a desktop.
For example, you could use this NUC 13 Extreme as a games console alternative, which we will touch on later, in a living room or a gaming room scenario. Granted, it's far more expensive than a games console, yet it will provide the best gaming experience in that environment while also keeping the games console aesthetic, and still double up as a kick-ass PC! With a smaller form factor, the main drawback is the lack of performance due to space-saving, but our build here with the Intel NUC 13 Extreme proves that you can use the latest cutting-edge performance parts within a subtle mini system.
