ANIMAL PARK NEW MONDAY-FRIDAY, 9.30AM, BBC1 FACTUAL
Kate Humble can’t contain her excitement at being back at Longleat Safari Park in Wiltshire with Ben Fogle for a new series of BBC1’s much-loved fly-on-the-enclosure series Animal Park.
‘Personally, I think it should be on 52 weeks of the year!’ laughs Kate as she and Ben, along with co-presenters Hamza Yassin and Megan McCubbin, go behind the scenes once again to capture the dramas featuring the real stars of the show – the park’s furry, feathered and scaly residents.
Here, in an exclusive interview, Kate, 55, tells TV Times what animal antics viewers can look forward to seeing this series…
Why do you think the show remains so popular with viewers?
It’s like this little shining beacon of familiarity. It’s uplifting, yet new and exciting every year. And people really do love it.
