There are more secrets and lies than there are jellied eels in the fridge at the Beale residence. While Cindy tries to swallow her forbidden lust for Junior, Ian is also acting shifty and is clearly keeping something quiet.
This week, the pie-and-mash purveyor goes to great lengths to maintain the mystery, but his loved ones are on a mission to get to the truth of what he is up to.
Suspicions were piqued when Peter questioned Ian’s spate of ‘meetings’, which his dad claimed was part of his plan to run for the local council again.
Peter did some digging and discovered his parent was telling porkies, but now Ian insists that he’s going away for a leadership course in Manchester.
