WILLIAM BECK on the major developments ahead for his Holby consultant
DOUBLE trouble

CASUALTY SATURDAY, 9.20PM, BBC1 DRAMA

When TV Times sat down with William Beck to discuss the twists and turns in the world of Casualty consultant Dylan Keogh last year, he revealed, 'I always want to be at the centre of things.'

Fast forward to this week and the actor's wish comes true in rather spectacular fashion as his fan-favorite character discovers he's set to become a father on the same day that he's also arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter.

'ALL OF A SUDDEN THESE TWO STORIES ARE UNITED AND YOU GET A BURST OF DYLAN!"

'Between the last time we spoke and now, I've been careering through this bizarre life that Dylan's leading,' smiles William as he joins us for another exclusive chat. 'It would be foolish to pretend that I'm not thrilled, it's great to have something to get my teeth into.'

Here, William, who joined the BBC1 medical drama in 2011 and is the longest-serving current cast member, shares his case notes on his alter ego's change in fortunes...

This sounds like an unmissable episode for Dylan devotees. What did you think when you heard about the double whammy of the pregnancy and the arrest stories?

The fact that they follow hot on the heels of each other is a jarring and dramatic spoke in the wheel. All of a sudden these two stories are united and you get a burst of Dylan!

How does he react when his girlfriend, psychiatric liaison nurse Sophia Peters, reveals that she's pregnant?
