SLIP NEW FROM THU 8 AUGUST, ITVX COMEDY DRAMA
A restless 30-something New Yorker finds herself unexpectedly living out different versions of her life on a journey of self-discovery across parallel universes in new dramedy Slip.
Launching on ITVX this week, the seven-part series is created by American actor and filmmaker Zoe Lister-Jones (New Girl and Life in Pieces), who also takes centre stage in the story as dissatisfied Mae Cannon.
DIFFERENT LIVES
Assistant museum curator Mae is in a loving but dull marriage to struggling writer Elijah (GLOW's Whitmer Thomas), but after Mae has a one-night stand with musician Eric (Willow's Amar Chadha-Patel), she is stunned to discover she is now Eric's troubled wife and her former life with Elijah never existed.
She eventually realises that each time she 'slips" and sleeps with someone new, she ends up 'slipping" A life lost: Ma into an alternate in her marria reality featuring that partner.
"Mae's not the agent of her own change. She's catapulted from world to world,' reveals Zoe, 41.
