Chaumet made its name as the house that dressed Emperor Napoléon and his Empress Joséphine in diamonds, telling the love story through the jewellery it designed for them. However, the maison is equally well known for its inclination toward naturalism, an inclination that has placed flora and fauna at the heart of its creations for over 240 years.
And this tradition of looking towards nature for inspiration means that Chaumet has several cherished motifs within its archives that are drawn from plants and animals, and these have been inventively revisited and reinterpreted through the years.
One of these has been the honeycomb — with Chaumet celebrating the beauty of bees and recognising their symbolism as an imperial emblem chosen by Napoléon by incorporating its graphic shape as the central motif in its Bee My Love collection.
As one of Chaumet’s iconic collections in its stable of styles, the Bee My Love is constantly updated and reinvented with new offerings. Here, discover what all the buzz is about.
Bee enlightened
Bees have long been prized because of how they embody the values of unity, diligence, and love. Inspired by the delicate dance of these industrious creatures, Chaumet has beautifully crafted the collection to showcase the honeycomb motif as a stylisitic language.
