ELLE: Can you tell us about the moment when you first wanted to start your own label? What inspired you?
Kanika Goyal (KG): I was studying in New York and learning Italian tailoring during one of the semesters. That’s when I started streamlining the idea. The serious connotation attached to tailoring intrigued me, and the initial idea was to make it playful, easy on the eye, and more fun in terms of the vibe.
