Berry-Mango Shaved Ice

For a boozy version, add 1 ounce vodka to fruit syrups after blending.
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
½ cup chopped fresh strawberries
1/3 cup fresh blackberries
½ cup chopped fresh mango Ice
1. Whisk together water, sugar, and salt in a bowl until sugar is dissolved.
2. Blend strawberries and 2/3 cup of the sugar mixture in a blender or small food processor until smooth. Strain mixture through a fine-mesh sieve; discard solids. Repeat blending and straining with remaining sugar mixture, blackberries, and mango to make 3 fruit syrups.
3. Shave ice in a shaved ice machine according to manufacturer's directions. [Or process ice cubes in a food processor until cubes break down.] Scoop shaved ice into cones, cups, or bowls and drizzle with fruit syrups.
