I have generally been a home bird. However, since the time I qualified, my job has taken me to many places within and outside of India.
I have lived in cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad and Delhi in addition to staying in Mumbai. I have also been overseas for close to eight plus years in London and Hong Kong. All the while that I travelled, I stayed only by myself. Every time I moved cities, I longed to get a job in Mumbai. But it took close to fifteen years for this wish to be fulfilled.
I have often thought about what is it that makes me want a job in Mumbai. And the answer is clear. While the extended family that stays in Mumbai is important, it is much more than that.
