Premier creative event Milan Design Week 2022 caught the discerning eye of Belle style director Steve Cordony. Here's what he spied on the stylish strada of Milano.

01 BRIGHT SPARKS In a new collection for Mutina Editions, showcased at Fuorisalone, designer Nathalie Du Pasquier created the 'Paesaggi' graphic ceramic objects with Bitossi. mutina.it

02 GOLDEN ERA Celebrating its first 100 years, Alessi explored the past, present and future with its interactive exhibit held at Galleria Manzoni to display some of the brand's rare and unseen products.alessi.com

03 BERBER STYLE At Alcova, a platform for independent design with a network of sites in and around Milan, Beni rugs revealed the fruits of its collaboration with acclaimed New York stylist Colin King. Handwoven in Morocco, the Spoken Lines collection was inspired by mosaic-clad Milanese entryways mixed with rationalist architecture. benirugs.com

05 PERFECT STRIKE For the first time, Colville presented its homeware offering along with its entire collection, from South American textiles to Milanese crafted furniture and the spherical Murano glass bowling ball-inspired vases created in collaboration with Venetian brand Laguna B. colvilleofficial.com

06 TRIPLE THREAT Edra released new pieces along with existing wares at the fairground and two city locations, showing the latest 'Standalto' sofa at Salone del Mobile and the 'On The Rocks' sofa, which snaked sensuously around the palatial Palazzo Durini. spacefurniture.com.au
