'Embodied Knowledge' surveys the Sunshine State's vital creative scene, bringing together recent projects by women, people of colour and LGBTIQA+ artists who share a connection to Queensland. Joining Justene Williams' The Vertigoats (left) - a gang of glossy mannequins stretched into impossible contortions - the collection includes Girramay artist Ethel Murray's shaggy re-imagining of traditional rainforest shields, a sprawling installation of paintings by Jenny Watson, a work fashioned with fish tanks and found objects by Erika Scott, and a new commission by Archie Moore sited on Queensland Art Gallery's Watermall.
