UDI'S LUXURY FLAGSHIP in all its long-legged, chrome-laden A glory, the ASL has returned after a long hiatus and is now embellished with some serious tech. On the design front there's plenty of fat that's been trimmed off its frame, leaving behind a lithe, angular, and proportionate form. The car's crease-free exterior is enhanced through chrome highlights around the bumper, side skirts, window frames, and boot lid. Then there's that large hexagonal grille featuring a bit more chrome. Yet, somehow the A8L avoids the pitfalls of a chrome-heavy design, instead using its digital LED headlamps and 19inch alloy wheels to catch your eye. Aside from being one of the handsomest sedans in the world, the A8L is, and always has been, a repository of the best tech that Audi, and therefore the world of German-engineered automobiles, has to offer.
It's packing heavy artillery
