The tough-as-nails father of Matty and Andrew ‘Joey’ Johns, has been called upon to mend the long-standing rift between rugby league’s most famous siblings.
A source who has known the pair for most of their impressive careers tells New Idea that neither Joey, 49, nor Matty, 51, are ready to let bygones be bygones just yet.
“You’d think by now they might have resolved their differences, but it’s been some time and it only seems to be getting worse,” the insider explains.
So much so that Johns patriarch Gary is reportedly intervening.
“Gary won’t waste any time sorting them out,” says the close friend.
