KING CHARLES ORDERS FAMILY SUMMIT

CLASHING WITH WILLIAM OVER WELSH COTTAGE

Amid a week of critical headlines for King Charles, New Idea’s sources reveal the monarch has decided to use his time off at Balmoral Castle, Scotland to orchestrate a mandatory family summit.

In the coming weeks, the Prince and Princess of Wales and Queen Camilla are expected to arrive in Scotland to discuss the family’s future. The king is preparing to confront Prince William over brewing tensions regarding his beloved holiday farmhouse, Llwynywermod, in Wales.

The property is owned by the Duchy of Cornwall, which William is now in control of. He has reportedly decided to charge his father if he wishes to stay on at the property.

Not only is Wills slugging his dad for rent, but he is opting to lease the estate out when the King doesn’t have plans to use it. This decision is said to have left the King reeling, as he now needs to clear out his personal belongings from the three-bedroom home.

New Idea hears this latest power struggle stems from a broader issue haunting the new King, who lags in the popularity stakes. Recent polls show Britons have a 62 per cent favourable view of the Waleses, while King Charles is at just 50 per cent.
