Brought to life with the brilliant hues of the sun and the ocean, Van Cleef & Arpels' high jewellery collection Perles d'été is an ode to the enchanting landscapes of the Mediterranean. A combination of precious and ornamental stones, the vivacious line of 12 unique pieces are inspired by flamboyant cocktail jewellery of the 1960s and '70s.
Brilliant blue turquoise contrasts beautifully against the radiance and warmth of yellow-gold beads in striking expressions that draw attention from afar. Blending exquisite materials with exceptional savoir faire, necklaces in various styles, bracelets and rings are an invitation to bask in the radiant golden light of a glorious summer.
BEHOLD RARITY
The Perles d'été collection unveils gemstone lots acquired by the maison several years ago. What makes them all the more precious is their precise shade matches since they're all Mother Nature's creations. A beloved material of Van Cleef & Arpels since the '20s, turquoise is the star in this collection. Ten creations from this range feature the vibrant aqua stone of rare quality acquired from three batches unearthed in Arizona.
The 14 turquoise cabochons of the first lot present a smooth appearance without inclusions. Selected by the maison's expert gemologists for their uniform azure hue, the stones are imbued with a softness evocative of Mediterranean landscapes. Carefully polished to enhance their glow, they adorn two necklaces, two bracelets and four rings in the collection.
