For more than four decades, La Prairie has been at the forefront of skincare innovation and performance. The Swiss house has recently introduced the Life Matrix Haute Rejuvenation Cream, a radical formulation that relies on cellular modulation to turn back the clock on ageing skin. Its development is led Dr Daniel Stangl, La Prairie's director of innovation, who has a doctorate in biochemistry.
The key ingredients of the cream are La Prairie's patented, highly concentrated Exclusive Cellular Complex, and extracts of peony roots and calendula flowers. The complex is based on decades of research and in-depth expertise in cellular science. Its components modulate cellular information to infuse new life into skin cells, optimising their functionality and healthspan. The exact composition of the active ingredient is a secret; in fact, it's produced in three separate laboratories to prevent disclosure of the formula.
How potent is it? When applied, Life Matrix smoothens and soothes skin in less than 15 minutes. Clinical results from the brand show improved skin elasticity and firmness, a more even complexion, and a more luminous appearance.
