Once relegated to the sidelines, mocktails are now in the spotlight as discerning patrons seek a healthier and innovative alternative to alcoholic beverages. Gone are the days when a mocktail was a mere sugary concoction - it has morphed into a sophisticated, non-alcoholic delight.

Amid a growing wave of health-conscious consumers, there's a newfound appreciation for "staying sober". This trend is particularly pronounced among millennials and Gen Z who are acutely aware of the adverse effects alcohol. A study by the University of Pennsylvania underscores this shift, revealing that young abstainers experience lower rates of depression, anxiety and other mental health challenges. And the Covid-19 pandemic shed light on the importance of wellness and self-care, prompting individuals to reevaluate their lifestyle choices.

These factors have paved the way for the ascent of low-alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages. According to a NielsenIQ study, the global market for these new-age drinks is poised for robust annual growth between 2021 and 2025. The demand for mocktails and other similar drinks is set to soar.
