Two decades after its inauguration, Laguna National Golf Resort Club remains one of Asia’s top golfing destinations.

“I AM NOT feeling really well, I need a doctor immediately. Ring the nearest golf course.” Though cheekily uttered by legendary American comedian Groucho Marx, the wisecrack was as much a joke as it was an affirmation of the healing powers of golf. And, if Marx were still alive today, we imagine that Laguna National Golf Resort Club would have been on his assistant’s speed dial.

Since it opened 20 years ago, the award-winning club has been a must-visit destination for golf enthusiasts and professionals alike. At the Platinum Clubs of the World 2023 Awards, Laguna National was named among the world’s top 100 golf and country clubs. And when the DP World Tour returned to Singapore for the first time since 2014 for the recently concluded Singapore Classic 2023 in February, it was the obvious choice to stage the tournament.

Indeed, the club’s spectacular fairways have hosted the sport’s most prestigious international competitions, as well as illustrious names such as Tiger Woods, Ernie Els, Sir Nick Faldo, Vijay Singh and Ian Woosnam; its two 18-hole championship calibre courses providing more than worthy challenges for these legends. Besides world-class courses, Laguna National also boasts state-ofthe-art facilities. From the time guests arrive to the time of departure, they are guaranteed a pampering experience that promises not only to leave them recharged, but eager for more.

While such an experience has always been a hallmark of Laguna National, the club hasn’t rested on its laurels. In 2017 and 2020, multimillion dollar transformations – which included the redesign of its famous courses and the addition of a five-star resort - further cemented Laguna National’s stature as one of the region’s best golf and country clubs.
