AGE NO BAR FOR 'IRONMAN' FITNESS

He has been called a pioneer, a pathbreaker, a trendsetter, and Kaushal Mehta, founder of Motif Inc - Gujarat's first and largest services company - has yet again demonstrated why his name is synonymous with these adjectives. On Sunday, the 59-year-old completed the Ironman 70.3 Western Australia, held in Busselton, becoming the city's oldest participant to finish this grueling triathlon. Armed with his indomitable spirit and a steel-like willpower that has seen him succeed in his entrepreneurial journey and through the 5.5 month-long training for one of the toughest marathons in the world, Mehta completed the course-1.9 kms open ocean water swim, 90 kms bicycle ride, 21.1 kms run-in 7.5 hours, one hour under the cut-off mark.
