Following recent allegations of harassment and threats against a professor at BJ Medical College’s Orthopaedics Department, another second-year resident doctor has come forward, detailing the toxic environment at Gujarat’s largest medical college. This prompted the National Medical Commission (NMC) to contact the college regarding the online complaints, which have ignited outrage within the medical fraternity.
The second resident doctor, also enrolled in the Masters of Surgery course in Orthopaedics, 2022 batch, shared a four-page handwritten letter on social media, through student leaders, detailing his experiences.
