Probe into deaths of two patients at Khyati Hospital, following angiography or angioplasty procedures, allegedly to collect money under PMJAY, has revealed that the hospital had held 13 health camps in the past to perform angiographies on patients under the PMJAY (Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana) scheme.Following the deaths of two patients on November 12, three separate cases were registered at Vastrapur Police Station against the hospital. The two were first checked during a medical camp in Borisana village near Kadi. Considering the seriousness of these cases, the city Police Commissioner transferred the investigations to the Crime Branch.The Crime Branch has conducted a thorough investigation along with a team of government-appointed doctors. Two computers with data and patient records, including those who underwent angiography, were also seized, and their information was retrieved.
