The much-awaited rains brought a deluge of woes for Amdavadis as the city was left inundated after just four hours of heavy rains on Sunday. The western part of the city and the highways reported flooding within the first hour of rains with commuters having to wade through kneedeep water. The waterlogging created a lot of anger among Amdavadis with many of them taking to social media to criticise the state of affairs of “Smart City” Ahmedabad.
