The leaders of Youth Demand are planning a series of "shameful, highly coordinated" protests dishonouring our war dead across the country on Monday, November 11.
Our undercover team has alerted Scotland Yard to the plot after attending a secret meeting between the organisers and activists from Youth Demand and Just Stop Oil.
Leaders of Youth Demand hope their Armistice Day protesters will be "getting on to the roads, swarming, causing disruption [and] getting off before arrests are made".
Former Conservative Home Office minister Kevin Foster slammed the plan as "utterly shameful" and said activists were abusing freedoms won by men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice.
He said: "This is utterly shameful and everyone involved should hang their heads in disgrace. The whole point of Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day is to remember the price of war and sacrifices made for these people who live in a free country as a result.
"Attempting to hijack it for whatever dispute or political cause misses the point entirely and is disrespectful to the memories of those we're there to commemorate.
"All this will do is alienate public opinion against the cause they are arguing for and make them look like the extremists many of them are." Scotland Yard deputy assistant commissioner Matt Ward has promised "robust action" against the protesters and called their plot "unacceptable".
He said: "Any attempt to disrupt the solemnity and importance of Armistice Day events is entirely unacceptable.
