A HOSPITAL consultant has been struck off after he stole £52,000 from the NHS in order to keep his daughters in their private school.
Aston Martin-driving Dr Kifayat Ullah forged timesheets in the pandemic, claiming that he had worked 45 hours a week when doing just 22.5.
The married dad-of-two was known as the Ear Doctor to Tik Tok followers, and a medical tribunal heard he posed online enjoying exotic holidays.
But he was short of cash to pay future school fees and refused to take out a loan due to "cultural issues".
Ullah, 41, of Hampstead, North London, was an ENT locum at Kingston Hospital in the south-west of the capital when investigators found he submitted 27 fraudulent timesheets purportedly signed by a manager for 658 hours he never worked.
A judge imposed a 24-month suspended sentence, ordered him to complete 250 hours unpaid work and pay £51,902 compensation last January after he admitted using a false instrument. He has since repaid the money.
