Gran died 60 years after she was 'poisoned' by asbestos

THE family of a gran who died 60 years after being allegedly poisoned by asbestos as a 15-year-old shop girl are suing Boots for £135,000.

Anne Lawton joined the high street chemist in 1957 and later claimed she was repeatedly exposed to deadly quantities of poisonous asbestos dust during a refit of her store in Stoke.
