LEWIS HAMILTON admitted he considered quitting Mercedes early after a chastening weekend in Brazil.
The seven-time drivers' champion suffered an embarrassing early exit in qualifying at Interlagos this month, before limping to 10th in the wet race as he failed to get his "worst-ever" Mercedes car to come alive.
He then said he "could happily go and take a holiday" and suggested over the radio that it could be his "last time" racing for Mercedes with three races still to go this season.
