Imran Chowdhury, 25, is accused of assisting Khalife flee Wandsworth Jail by clinging to the bottom of a food truck.
Chowdhury was arrested at his home in Chingford, North East London, in January 2024 and bailed before police charged him with assisting an escaped prisoner.
He will appear before Westminster Magistrates' Court this morning.
