TUMBLING poppies take centrestage as Remembrance art returns to the Tower of London.

Ten years ago Yeoman Warder Crawford Butler laid the first ceramic poppy of thousands that filled its moat as the display Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red marked 100 years since the start of the First World War.

A decade on, he is still collecting for the Royal British Legion.

Great-grandad Crawford, 74, has been at Horsham War Memorial in West Sussex ahead of Remembrance Day. He has collected for the RBL every year since he retired in 2015.
