THE Magnificent Seven group of leading tech companies gained a combined 63% last year, building on their strong performance in 2023.

Deutsche Bank revealed the group, comprising Apple, American chip maker Nvidia, Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet Google's parent - Facebook and Instagram owner Meta and Tesla generated more profit in 2024 than most national stock markets.

But will the group continue its market dominance in 2025? Amazon could prove to be AI FUTUF the group which does best, having beaten revenues and margins in the most recent quarter.

Apple fuelled strong sales in 2024 with its privacy features and ecosystem keeping customers loyal. But service growth Mic missed expectations and hardware innovations appeared muted.
