Leeds Rhinos' talented young second-row has not played since suffering a concussion in February's friendly against Hull KR.

It was his second serious head knock in pre-season, having already missed the 2022 Grand Final due to a concussion and much of the following year with similar issues.

That led to a specialist deciding in May that the strong-running Yorkshireman should sit out the entire 2024 Super League campaign to protect his brain. But Gannon, who turned 21 last week, is lined up to finally make his return in the Boxing Day friendly against Wakefield.
