Reeves pledges 'reset' to boost trade in Europe

RACHEL Reeves has hit out at the Tory Brexit deal, saying Boris Johnson's settlement had "reduced trade flows" between the UK and Europe.

The Chancellor said better ties could boost the British economy and drive up living standards, but ruled out rejoining the customs union and single market.

Ms Reeves became the first Chancellor to meet EU finance ministers in Brussels since Brexit.
