OLYMPIC champion Keely Hodgkinson is the huge favourite to win the 2024 BBC Sports Personality of the Year - but Tour de France hero Mark Cavendish doesn't even make the shortlist.
Athlete sensation Hodgkinson, 22, has odds of just 1/3 following an immense year.
She won the 800m gold in Paris, also took European Championships gold and was unbeaten over two laps all season.
A new British record of one minute, 54.61 seconds also made her the sixth fastest woman in history over the distance.
Hodgkinson is joined on the six-strong shortlist by darts ace Luke Littler, fellow Olympic gold medallist Alex Yee, Real Madrid and England midfielder Jude Bellingham, Paralympic record-breaker Dame Sarah Storey and England cricket star Joe Root.
