NHS EXODUS IF TORIES WIN

PATIENTS have been warned there will be an exodus of NHS staff if the Tories are re-elected in Thursday's General Election.

One in five health service workers are thinking about quitting their jobs if Rishi Sunak returns to No10 as Prime Minister.

Shadow Health Secretary Wes Streeting last night appealed to hospital staff to "stay and help Labour rebuild the NHS".

Doctors and nurses have warned the health service is at breaking point after 14 years of Tory rule.

Hospital waiting lists in England have risen to 7.6 million, according to the latest figures.

A five-day strike by junior doctors came to an end this morning at 7am. It was the 11th walkout in their long-running pay dispute.

A survey of 1,025 NHS employees on June 25 and 26 found as many as 22% are set to leave if the Conservatives manage to get back in.
