SYRIA'S lull in violence could still spill over into all-out regional war, following the toppling of Bashar al-Assad, experts have warned.
Cross-country religious and political schisms and jihadist ambitions to free jailed family and comrades could still mean civil war and division across Syria.
The caution comes just days after rebels sent Bashar alAsssad's family and their loyalists fleeing and began to free his opponents holed up in hellhole jails.
And as the dust settles in Damascus, with grim warnings Assad's killers will be hunted down even if they are abroad, there are escalating fears of more bloodshed.
