Removing jobless benefits will drive crime, says poll

ALMOST half of voters think removing benefits from unemployed people will make them more likely to turn to crime to make ends meet, polling shows.

The survey also found 50% oppose withdrawing benefits from people with jobs or currently on sickness and disability benefits.
