CRYSTAL PALACE can challenge for the top half this season despite last weekend's 5-1 embarrassment against Arsenal.
That's according to exEagle and Amazon Prime pundit Andros Townsend, who predicts the festive period could transform the fortunes of his former employers.
Ahead of today's trip to Bournemouth, he said: "The good thing about this season is the table is so tight.
"Palace are probably four or five points off being in that cluster of teams that could finish in the top half or upper bottom half.
