EVERY community will have its own named police officer, Keir Starmer will announce today.
The Prime Minister is vowing to help people feel safer on their streets, with 13,000 extra officers, PCSOs and special constables by 2029.
In a major speech today, Mr Starmer will spell out how he plans to change the country by the next election.
He will say: "My government was elected to deliver change, and today marks the next step. People are tired of being promised the world, but short-term sticking-plaster politics letting them down."
Mr Starmer will outline a range of reforms alongside £100million to support neighbourhood policing.
