DONALD Trump has told how King Charles is "fighting very hard" after discussing his cancer journey with Prince William.
The US president-elect met the royal as the two attended the ceremonial reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral after its 2019 fire.
After the event, Trump and William met for a private chat at the British ambassador's Paris residence, discussing matters including the Princess of Wales's health.
Trump said of it: "I had a great talk with the prince. I asked him about his wife, and he said she's doing well. I asked him about his father, and his father is fighting very hard.
