£47K LOTTERY CROOK JAILED

A SUPERMARKET worker who conned the National Lottery out of nearly £50,000 has been jailed for seven months.

Melanie Davies admitted exploiting a glitch in the system to steal £47,000 while she was working as a cashier at a branch of Asda.
