SCOTLAND fans following the team at Euro 2024 are mulling over swapping their tartan tammies for Bavarian hats after John McGinn adopted the Alpine headgear.

Steve Clarke’s midfield talisman wore the locals’ hat during a welcome party after the Scotland squad landed in Germany – and it’s already proving a hit with fans.

McGinn was invited to join dancers dressed in lederhosen and wearing the Tyrolean hat complete with a feather and several pin badges.

A hilarious clip of the star joining in the dancing was taken hours after the team had arrived in Garmisch- Partenkirchen, the Alpine town that will be their base for the tournament.
