A HAULAGE boss who overcharged a green energy firm £110,000 in a police escort fraud has been jailed for 16 months.
James Campbell, 51, transported wind turbines and held lucrative contracts linked to transport in mining, civil engineering and construction.
Renewables firm Siemens Gamesa entered into an agreement for his business West of Scotland Heavy Haulage (WSHH) to move wind farm components to sites in Scotland and Wales.
