A former trusted family aide, bodyguard Markus Fritsche, is accused of being behind the claimed extortion.
Seven-times world champion Michael, 55, was seriously injured in a skiing accident in 2013.
The German's family have kept his condition private, with only a trusted circle of people allowed close to him.
Fritsche recruited by the Schumachers 18 months before the accident - was one of them.
