DOM THOMAS felt like "a passenger in a bad driver's motor" watching Queen's Park put the foot down without him but reckons they've shown their season won't hit the skids when a regular stalls.

Thomas is back in gear to help drive Spiders on

Two tears in his thigh sidelined the skipper for six weeks, during which the Spiders lost just once, before starting last Saturday's 3-2 defeat at Ayr.

Victory over Falkirk tonight would return them to the play-off places and Thomas, 28, said: "I'm back fit as I was, maybe even fitter, so it's time to help the team out.

"Twelve years without a rehab process is good going. Hopefully that was the first and the last but it was smooth.
