With a clear and strong commitment to the environment, ScottishPower is the UK’s first integrated energy company to generate 100% green electricity.
However, the company didn’t achieve this alone - working with a wide range of businesses to make it happen. And to show the importance of these relationships, ScottishPower recently held its ‘Supplier Awards: Delivering a Better Future through Partnerships’ event.
Hosted at the IMAX Theatre at the Glasgow Science Centre, the evening saw 300 guests gather to celebrate and honour the company’s vital partnerships.
Overall, there were 10 categories, covering the various roles partners had in helping ScottishPower’s ambitious plans, which include £24bn being invested up to 2028. This money will help deliver jobs, supply-chain contracts and economic growth across the UK.
