The 63-year-old said the phantom "moved things around" in his pad and turned the radio on full blast at 3am.
The designer, the son of Sir Terence Conran and author Shirley, decided to challenge the spirit one night in a bid to get rid of it.
Asked if he had ever lived in a haunted house, he said: "I have.
"I won't say which one because there will be people living there.
"When I moved in, it had a heavy atmosphere and then things started getting moved about.
