FIFA president Gianni Infantino launched a bonkers Carry Onstyle rant in which he accused the West of bullying Qatar.

In an hour-long tirade on the eve of the World Cup the fuming footie boss said the hosts were being picked on – like he had been at school for having “red hair”.

He claimed that instead of criticising the Arab state, European countries should spend “3,000 years” apologising for their own past “before starting to give moral lessons to people”. He added: “This onesided moral lesson is just hypocrisy.”
